If you have been trying to get more YouTube views and you don’t know where to begin then you’re not alone. Many people go through all the steps to make a great video, it’s funny and all their friends like it, the tags are there, keywords in the title and description and still no one is watching. If this sounds familiar then it may not be what you are doing right that is the problem. It may simply what you are not doing at all that can make the difference. Now, keep in mind, if you’ve only posted a couple of videos and you are new at YouTube marketing, you may just need to give it some time and keep posting, however, you can do the following to help boost your view count.
Promote Subscriptions
Anyone who is knowledgeable about YouTube marketing will tell you that you must promote subscriptions to your channel in order to get more views. Your subscribers consist of your biggest fans and they will check out your channel on a regular basis to see your latest videos. The more subscribers you have on your channel, the more automatic views you can count on. Now to get you those subscribers and thankfully it’s not really that difficult. Just ask people to subscribe. When you send out your promotional emails, include a link to ask your recipients to subscribe, talk about your channel on social media. Just make sure you put it out there so people know that you have a YouTube channel.

Send Out Bulletins
Now that you are building up your subscriptions, you need to engage them in other ways such as sending out bulletins. You can do this through texts and through your videos to let your subscribers know that you’re posting a new video. These will also be posted on your subscriber’s channel which will make it easier for them to simply click to watch your video. You should send these out every time that you upload a new video to ensure that you are getting the views that you want immediately.
Responding through Videos
Did you know that you can actually post your videos as a video response to other videos that people post? While you don’t want to do this too often, it can seem spammy, there is nothing wrong with a good video debate over a hot industry topic. This can not only get you more views, but it can also create great contacts within your own niche. All you have to do is click on the “Create a Video Response” and you’ll be taken to a list of your videos. Simply choose the one you’d like to use and it will be uploaded in the comment section. Make sure that you also offer comments too and not just your video response. Joining in the conversation will get more people to watch your video which means more views too.
The above are just a few simple ways to get more YouTube views on your videos without working too hard to do it.
